Sound Gospel Radio was founded by Nathan J. Hoskins along with his wife JaLissa in March of 2022. It was during that time that the voice of the Lord spoke to Nathan one day and said softly “What about an Internet radio station?” Nathan always dreamed of one day having his own radio show but never considered having his own station.

A light bulb appeared anticipating the success of the future station looking at how intricate streaming services have evolved since the pandemic of 2020.

Shortly after hearing the Lord, Elder Hoskins purchased the domain for the website, reserved all social media platforms, registered the station’s name with the state of NJ and opened a Bank account.

On Thursday, August 18, 2022, in honor of the founder’s deceased Father, the late Samuel G. Hoskins,  Sound Gospel Radio launched it’s station on what would have been his 79th Birthday.
